Ingredients:
- 1 package (15 oz) Oreos (the magical dirt!)
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding (the secret bug mud!)
- 2 cups cold milk (any fat percentage works!)
- 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream (for extra fluff!)
- 24 gummy worms (the wiggly friends!)
- Optional: Chocolate rocks (because who doesn’t love extra crunch?)
Instructions:
1. Crumble Up That Dirt!
Time to get your hands dirty! 😄
- With a Food Processor: Toss in those Oreos and blend until they are fine crumbs—think dust from a bug's burrow!
- No Food Processor? No Problem!: Place the Oreos in a sturdy zip-top bag and grab a rolling pin. Give them a good roll, squish, and bash! (Let loose, but keep it safe! ⚠️)
2. Mix Up the Bug Mud
In a big bowl, take your instant chocolate pudding and add cold milk. Whisk that mixture like you’re trying to scare off a pesky beetle! 🪲
- Let it sit for 5-7 minutes to thicken—perfect for that wonderful pudding texture.
3. Fluff in the Creamy Love
Grab an adult to help whip your heavy cream until medium peaks form (like little bug wings!). Gently fold this frothy cloud into your chocolate pudding. Add about three-quarters of your crushed Oreos to the mix and stir until it’s all cozy!
4. Assemble Your Bug-tastic Cups!
- Grab 8 clear cups (we want to see all that gooey goodness!) and evenly divide your chocolate pudding mixture.
- Now for the fun part! Stick 3 gummy worms in the top of each cup like they’re crawling out of the mud.
- Sprinkle the remaining Oreo crumbs over the top to create the perfect "dirt" layer and toss in those chocolate rocks if you want a crunchy surprise!

Did you know that some types of worms can regenerate their tails if cut off? Not that we recommend trying it with gummy worms…but it's fun to think about! 🤔
