Welcome to the Bug Zoo™! Our little critters worked very hard to crawl onto your screen.
This page explains what you can and cannot do with any Bug Zoo™ digital download.

If you’re using your files for your own home, family, or classroom, you’re golden.
If you’re trying to pretend our bugs are yours… the swarm gets cranky. 🐞

What you’re allowed to do (Personal Use)

With any Bug Zoo™ digital download, you may:

  • Print it at home or at a local copy/print shop for yourself or your household.

  • Use it in your own home, office, or personal space (fridge, kids’ rooms, home classroom, etc.).

  • Give a printed copy as a gift to a friend or family member.

  • Use the files as wallpapers or screensavers on your own devices.

  • Share photos of your printed calendar/art online, as long as you tag @BugZooInc when possible.

In short: enjoy it, love it, show it off — just don’t sell it or pretend you made it.

What you’re not allowed to do

Without written permission from Bug Zoo Inc., you may not:

  • Sell, resell, or redistribute the digital files in any form.

  • Upload the files to any website, app, marketplace, or print‑on‑demand platform (Etsy, Amazon, Redbubble, etc.) as your own.

  • Offer the files as freebies, bonuses, or part of a paid course, membership, or subscription.

  • Print and sell physical products using these files (calendars, posters, books, merch, etc.).

  • Remove or alter any copyright notices, logos, or watermarks.

  • Use the artwork in logos, trademarks, or branding without a separate license.

If it looks like commercial use, smells like commercial use, or makes you money…
it’s not covered by this personal‑use license.

One license = one household

Each purchase grants one (1) personal‑use license per household.

That means:

  • You can print multiple copies for your own home/family.

  • Your sister’s house, your friend’s classroom, or your client’s office needs their own purchase.

Think of it as: one cozy bug hive per order. 🐝

Digital nature of the product

Because these are instant digital downloads:

  • All sales are final and non‑refundable once the files are delivered.

  • If you have trouble downloading or opening your files, reach out and we’ll do our best to help.

Want to use Bug Zoo™ art commercially?

If you’d like to:

  • Sell printed items using Bug Zoo™ art

  • Use our bugs in a book, game, app, or curriculum

  • License the artwork for larger projects

please contact us to discuss a commercial license.
We’re open to collaborations that respect the bugs and the humans behind them.

If someone breaks the rules…

When people ignore this license and use Bug Zoo™ art without permission, they’re:

  • Violating copyright law

  • Violating marketplace terms of service

  • Making the bugs very unimpressed

We reserve the right to:

  • Request removal of infringing listings or content

  • File DMCA takedowns with platforms and hosts

  • Pursue further legal action if necessary

Or in bug language: don’t poke the hive.

TL;DR

  • Yes: personal use, gifts, home/classroom printing.

  • No: reselling, uploading, or using the art to make money without a commercial license.

  • Always: credit Bug Zoo™ when sharing photos of the art online if you can.
