Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey;
Along came a spider,
And sat down beside her,
And frightened Miss Muffet away.
Have you ever seen a spider up close? Maybe a big, hairy one? Did it frighten you? Miss Muffet was scared of the spider, but did you know that most spiders are harmless? And guess what? They're super important for our environment!
Spiders are like nature's pest control. They eat all sorts of insects that might otherwise bug us, like flies and mosquitoes. Can you imagine a world full of buzzing flies? Yuck! Thanks to spiders, we don't have to worry about that.
Next time you see a spider, instead of being scared, try to observe it. Look at its eight legs and how it spins its web. It's like a tiny superhero with its own special powers!
