Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey;
Along came a spider,
Who sat down beside her
And frightened Miss Muffet away.
Have you ever seen a spider up close? Spiders are helpful because they eat other bugs that might get into our house or our food! They use their webs to catch their food. Spiders are really good at making webs. Their webs can be really big or really small. The webs are sticky so that bugs will get stuck. Once a bug is stuck, the spider wraps it up in a silky case so they can eat it later. Spiders can have up to 8 eyes! Do you think you could see a spider coming from behind you?
