Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber – it serves as the bug body
- 1 bell pepper – any color now serves as bug wings
- 1 small carrot – it now makes bug antennas
- Cherry tomatoes – they serve as bug eyes
- Black olives – they now fill the bug eyes with pupils
- Hummus or cream cheese – it acts as tasty glue
- Love and fun! – a bit of creativity and some giggles
Feel free to swap veggies: try zucchini, radishes, or celery. They bring more fun to your bug.
Wiggle Your Cucumber!
Cut your cucumber in half lengthwise to create the bug body. Squeeze a bit of hummus or cream cheese on it—this will hold everything together like bug goo!
Pepper Power!
Cut the bell pepper into shapes that resemble wings and stick them onto the cucumber body. Now your bug’s ready to take flight! Choose a bright color for extra fun.
