Little Miss Muffet sat on a tuffet, eating her curds and whey. Along came a spider who sat down beside her...
...and whispered, Did you know I use my silk to make amazing webs? They are sticky and strong, perfect for catching my dinner! Little Miss Muffet, instead of being scared, was mesmerized. She had never thought of a spider's web as anything but something that might tickle her nose! The spider, sensing her curiosity, continued, My web isn't just for catching food. It's also my home, my playground, and my way of listening to the world. He pointed a leg, tipped with a tiny sparkle of dew, towards the intricate strands. See how it vibrates? That's how I know what's happening around me.
Bugs are cool and amazing?! Thanks for loving bugs too! 🐞
From that day forward, Little Miss Muffet looked at the world differently. She started noticing the busy ants marching in line, the dazzling colors of a butterfly's wings, and the symphony of chirps and buzzes filling the air. She even learned that the little rolly pollies she used to poke were actually tiny crustaceans related to lobsters! Who knew bugs could be so incredibly interesting?
